My 4-year-old son loves it. I buy him the upgrades and he plays. He calls it the Octopus Game.

I don't think there are many family games that aren't just for kids. Without changing anything other than adding a help section for children or something similar, and having the game automatically purchase upgrades, it shouldn't be marketed as such, but it's a feature a parent player might appreciate.

I think I'll do something similar for my game.
