(Reviewed v0.5.1.24-WEB -- most reviews of this game are based on a much earlier version.)
I'm charmed by this time-looper puzzlebox. Most of all, what strikes me about it is the attention to detail -- not just in UI elements like grouping collections of actions once you've taken them a few times, but in the narrative progression of the game, with your looper making relevant observations about the various events in the game world not only based on how many times you've experienced them but also in where you are when things happen. (There's one explosion you can watch from a number of different vantage points, including one that requires precise and tricky timing to be just outside the blast radius while riding a moving tram, which rewards you with a unique description.)
You're constantly juggling air, water, food, and multiple scarce resources which get creatively reused for a number of unrelated tasks. Overcoming the resource walls to reach new locations is initially formidable, but there's a repetition mechanic which makes tasks you've already done more efficient, including travel time (and, separately, time compression for long actions, so that the game respects your time even as it demands frequent interaction). You have to constantly push outward to new locations in search of answers for your predicament, and yet there are constant reasons to keep returning to old locations equipped with new information or equipment. All in all, the game unfolds with a rare elegance.
I binged it for a few days straight and reached the end of available free web content (acquired three artifacts and made significant strides toward two others), and I find myself sad I can't keep playing. The dev releases new content every couple of months, though, and already this is an easy recommend on the strength of the existing content.
