Surprisingly well balanced, with a consistent idea, concepts and upgrades. The small mechanics intertwine with eachother allowing for focused progression on specific parts of the tree, which feels very, very good. only bad thing is that the game pauses while on the upgrade tree. But that's pretty much it.
