Outlast Life review

It feels like there's more developer effort than gameplay here. For example, the extremely extensive help screens and formula transparency (which are always appreciated), and the upgradable offline boosts up to 2 weeks of idle time -- but both for a game that only lasts about a day and never presents enough of a puzzle to require understanding of the formulas.
That said, unlocking each new era is fun, the simple graphics are quite evocative, and the day/night/moon-cycle work is a nice touch. It's got a number of meaningful walls without ever feeling particularly grindy. Rewarded my time spent.
