"what if an incremental game was made by someone with a crippling gambling addiction"

like seriously, the multiplier thing is one thing, spamming resets to get good rng got pretty annoying but I could accept it as part of the gameplay, especially around the middle section. (probably helped immensely that the pink upgrades could all be bought long before finishing the grid with even decent rng). I agree with the consensus that multiplier-improving upgrades are needed.

but then you unlock a completely separate side game that's just straight up based on poker? I could physically feel myself falling into the gambler mentality of "please, I just need one big hit!" as I watched 1 and 2 pair hands only give me like 0.1% of the points I needed over and over. And then you unlock upgrades that massively buff a certain color (literally, there's a 100x buff for getting a pink 3 of a kind), and now not only do you need a big hit hand, you even need it in the right color. Like... c'mon man. I made it to the green square but it took way too much time spent in pure monotony. Large sections of this game are only playable as second monitor content.
