They updated the game a a month or two ago that completely ruined the game. Offline progress was limited and almost all parts of the game including earning in-game currency was locked behind ads. You can't do anything anymore unless you watch ads all day or pay. They'll ignore any reviews with a copy pasted "You can play the game without paying!" but the game is horrendous now and they're not turning back.
