Hearthline is a cozy idle-builder about tending a hearth, guiding a household, and growing a settlement one warm night at a time. The web beta is open — play in your browser and help us tune the first thirty minutes.
I'm a software-industry lifer who spent years shipping everyone else's software and never got to build a game of my own. Hearthline is me finally fixing that — and I used AI extensively to do it: art, code, writing, music direction, the lot. What's mine is the vision and every design call; AI did a lot of the making.
Keep the fire lit. Grow something that lasts.
Hearthline is a slow-burn, cozy idle-builder. Tend a hearth, keep a household warm and fed, and grow from a single family through camp, settlement, and village — unlocking roles, buildings, and recipes as you go. Needs decay in real time, so your settlement is something you care for, not just optimize. Come back to a ledger of what happened while you were away.
This is an early web beta. It's playable, but balance, content, saves, and UI will keep changing. We're not asking for reviews — we want honest feedback from players who enjoy idle, incremental, cozy, and settlement games. The thing we most want to learn: what you do in the first five minutes after the tutorial stops guiding you.
