Idle Underworlds is a lot of things. Mainly a semi-idle browser game. Generate resources, trade with other players, build monuments and contribute to collaborative events, expand your domain on a persistent world map, fight in the underworld...
Build, optimize, trade, fight, loot, forge, collaborate... many things you can do, many things you can be.
Start with generating 20 food per hour, and end up generating 2 000 000 gold per day.
Different buildings, terrain types, synergies between them, roads, monuments, collaborative events... And a roguelike auto-battling system with relics and rare loot to alter your future runs ! This sounds like a lot, but things appear slowly in the game.
This game was built for a main reason : offer a player with a chaotic playing schedule a place where he could still be competitive, have fun, play 5mn or 5h... Having the freedom of multiple play styles in a living multiplayer world.
Also being able to pause whenever needed, and play with only one hand on a mobile phone. You guessed it, I'm a parent of young children and I needed a game that scratched my MMO/min-max/farm/idle/loot itch.
Is it still under development, and while all its main bricks and features are done, there is still a long way ahead full of balancing and new features (or deepened mechanics for existing ones).
100% offline progression from the start, no time gating, no irreversible choices.
