The Crystal Atelier is a small, cozy game about running a gem workshop. You dig up rough, grubby stones, clean and mend them, infuse them with elements, polish them up, and either sell them or fulfill orders for the local guild.
It's slow and low-stakes — there's no combat and nothing to fail. Mostly it's the quiet satisfaction of taking a cracked, dirty rock and turning it into something worth showing off.
This demo focuses on the gem workshop and runs up to your first guild promotion. The full game will continue with alchemy (brewing potions from herbs and gems), apprentices who help run the shop, and a forge for setting your finest gems into jewelry and other creations.
I'm colorblind myself, so important information is communicated through text and icons, not color alone.
This is my first game and still very much a prototype, so it's rough in places. I'd genuinely love to hear what you think.
How to play: Click a dig site to mine, click a gem in your satchel to bring it into the workshop, then Restore → Infuse → Polish → Sell. The Guild Board shows what customers are looking for.
